(4758 14 St NE, Calgary, AB T2E 6L7) Job Type: On-Site- Permanent and Full-time Experience: More than 5 years Pay Rate: $36.00/hr. Language: English Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or similar Responsibilities: - Estimate the time to complete graphic designs and illustrations - Adapt existing illustrations - Assist in developing storyboards for electronic productions such as multimedia, interactive, and digital products, and television advertising and productions. - Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs. - Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations - Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations - Work in a multidisciplinary environment - Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials - Co-ordinate sub-contracting - Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials - Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication - Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives - Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements - Use existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides - Process files and paperwork Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Autodesk 3ds Max Corel Draw Adobe Suite MS Office Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Information technology Type of production art Animation Visual effects Equipment and machinery experience Scanner Area of work experience Software development Specialization or experience Transportation/travel information Own transportation Public transportation is available Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Sitting Large workload Tight deadlines Own tools/equipment Computer Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Initiative Team player Creativity Other benefits Free parking available On-site amenities How to Apply E-mail: newmoonprintjobs@gmail.com
