Looking for In Home Childcare Provider (NOC-44100) who can provide care to our children on an ongoing basis. They will be providing care primarily at our residency for our children aged 2 and 4yrs. Job will be permanent: full time (30-35 hours per week) Pay rate: $19.00 per hour (Vacation pay, medical insurance until enrolled into BC Medical Service Plan and relocation cost will be covered by the employer). Job duties are listed below Supervise and care for children in employer's or own residence Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer Take care of child’s personal hygiene, change dippers, and prepare formulas Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Instruct children in personal hygiene Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings Take child to and from pre-school for a few hours in few days a week May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child. Language: English Preference will be given to Canadian PR or Citizens Employment requirements Completion of secondary school may be required. Childcare or household management experience may be required. Demonstrated ability to perform work is usually required.
