Job Description
Fast Frost heating and air conditioning ltd. located at Unit-11, 8528, 123 Street Surrey, BC is hiring a gas fitter for full-time and permanent position. Work will be at various locations across lower mainland. Duties: Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install replacement piping. Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves and automatic controls Test and replace defective equipment or components Inspect and test pipelines and equipment for leaks and faulty connections. Attend to gas escape calls and assist in the investigation of gas fires and explosions Requirements Must be able to communicate in English completion of high school is required Experience of one year or more is required. Must have Gas fitter trade certificate or be eligible to apply for certificate. Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
