Personal Suitability: Flexibility; Team player; Reliability; Organized Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence Tasks: Select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment according to a predetermined formula; Inspect for damage, complete damage deficiency reporting prior to performing/installing coatings; Operate or tend equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare items for application of paint, lacquer or other protective or decorative coatings; Wash and Prep surface area accordingly prior to applications including exterior decontamination; Sand surfaces prior to application of coatings; Prepare and apply stencils, computer-generated decals or other decorative items on finished products; Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat; Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment; Organize and maintain inventory; Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices; Operate or tend automated spray paint, dip or flow coating equipment or other mechanized painting or product coating application equipment; Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes; Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications; Operate hand-held spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items or items on moving conveyor system with protective or decorative coatings; Clean work area Type of Product: Motor vehicles Work Site Environment: Noisy, odours, dusty, hot Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Fast-paced environment; Hand-eye co-ordination; Handling heavy loads; Manual dexterity; Physically demanding; Repetitive tasks; Standing for extended periods Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs.)
