Work location: 1950 Highway 3, Jaffray, BC V0B 1T0 Vacancies: 3 Vacancies Salary: $20.15 / Hour for 35 to 45 Hours / Week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time Start date: As soon as possible Employment conditions: early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, holiday days, shift Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food preparation or food service required Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, team player, client focus, flexibility Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and who measure and combine ingredients, use heat sources and other equipment to bake goods such as donuts, bread, pastry, sandwiches, pizza, chicken and others; Estimate and order ingredients and supplies; Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards; Ensure that each item meets food safety and quality control; Ensure that all food decorating and displaying of finished products meet the standards of the business and that the kitchen staff create amazing baked goods as this is essential; Supervise and check that deliveries of food orders are fulfilled accurately and on time; Ensure that workstations are cleaned, restocked and all equipment is sanitized for the next shift; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare and submit reports; Establish work schedules; Address customer’ complaints or concerns; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Establish methods to meet work schedules; May perform some cashier duties when required; May perform same duties as those supervised.
