Position: Cashier Wage: $16.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week Job Duties: 1. Process customer purchases using cash registers, POS systems, and electronic payment terminals. 2. Verify customer identification and age to ensure compliance with legal requirements for alcohol purchases. 3. Provide friendly and efficient customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product information, and product selection. 4. Handle cash, credit card, debit card, and other payment transactions accurately, maintain cash drawer balances, and follow established cash handling procedures. 5. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain clean, orderly, and presentable product displays. 6. Assist with receiving and checking incoming merchandise shipments and organizing products in the store. 7. Ensure pricing labels and promotional displays are accurate and up to date. 8. Handle customer complaints and refer complex issues to the owner as required, while following company policies and safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe checkout area.
