At this point in time we are looking to expand our team with a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, who will be able to perform the following Job Duties: - Organize and coordinate the cleaning, painting and repair of rental properties - Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers who maintain lawns and other landscaped areas - Organize the planting and maintenance of trees, lawns, shrubs and hedges - Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports - Requisition supplies and materials - Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units - Train workers in job duties and company policies - Support renters on move-in and move-out days and check the status of the rental unit - May perform the same duties as workers supervised - Provide snow removal services during winter months Job details: - this is a full-time, permanent position (2 vacancies) for at least 30 to 40 hours per week - wage: $30.55/hour - benefits: there are no benefits - location of work: 130 Shuswap Street SE and 481 HWY 97B NE, Salmon Arm, BC Canada - contact information: Antonietta Muto at antonmuto@gmail.com - the anticipated start date is 1 August 2026 Skills/education requirements: - successful completion of high school - experience as a landscape supervisor or a landscape technician is required - experience in grounds maintenance is required - a flexible attitude towards working hours, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings, is expected - capacity to work NOT under the influence of alcohol, pharmaceutical and or narcotic substances which would impair your ability to work safely Good English language skills, a cover letter, a resumé and references are required.
