We (Advance Sheet Metal Ltd) are an established sheet metal company in business for over 30 years based out of Delta, BC is looking for Sheet Metal Workers for fulltime and permanent position. Duties would be: • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints. • Develop patterns for metal sheet using computer assisted designs • Measuring and marking sheet metal as per drawings • May need to operate metalwork machinery which may include drill presses, brakes and shears and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. • May need to grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale • To install sheet metals according to specifications and building codes • Manufacture and assemble in the factory the ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning and ventilation • Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment Requirement: Education: Minimum education as completion of high school is required.
