Work site environment • At heights • Noisy • Dusty Work setting • Construction • Various locations • Residential Responsibilities/Tasks • Measure, cut, fit, and install various exterior siding materials, including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, metal, composite, and specialty products. • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, specifications, and building plans to determine installation requirements. • Prepare exterior surfaces by installing weather barriers, flashing, insulation, furring strips, and other supporting materials. • Install trims, soffits, fascia, corner posts, starter strips, moldings, and other finishing components to ensure a professional appearance. • Fasten siding materials using hand and power tools while ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and weatherproofing. • Seal joints, gaps, and penetrations to prevent moisture infiltration and improve energy efficiency. • Repair or replace damaged siding, trims, flashings, and related exterior components as required. • Load, unload, and transport construction materials and maintain an organized worksite. • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition and report any defects or maintenance requirements. • Remove debris and construction waste from work areas and ensure cleanliness of the jobsite.
