Alamo Industries Ltd., located at 261106 Wagon Wheel Cres. suite 1, Rocky View County, AB T4A 0E2 is seeking a permanent full-time Turbocharger Motor Repairer to join its staff. This position is available to be filled immediately. Alamo Industries Ltd. is a company that specializes in the supply and repair of turbochargers for automotive, diesel trucks and natural gas applications. Alamo is primarily a turbocharger repair facility with some manufacturing work. Specific duties include: Adjusting, replacing and repairing mechanical components of turbochargers Diagnosing and isolating faults on turbochargers, manifolds and coolers Documenting inspections and tests made on turbochargers, manifolds and coolers Confirming finding with supervisors to determine wether to repair or replace units Testing repaired turbochargers according to manufacturer’s specifications Reviewing work orders Performing scheduled maintenance service on equipment Advising customers on work performed and condition of equipment Maintaining a clean and safe work area Maintaining proper storage of turbo engines in machine shop area Specific skills include: Ability to perform bench work in a machine shop setting Ability to work well in a time-efficient manner Standing for long periods of time during their shift; meet the physical demands of machine shop work; manual dexterity Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of weight Ability to accomplish goals with minimal direct supervision, use critical and creative thinking skills to solve problems, and demonstrate rigorous attention to detail Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, and good oral communication with clients and fellow staff members Education and Experience Required: Secondary School Graduation Certificate required Completion of relevant vocational training program (machinist, engine repair) Experience an asset The selected candidate must have their own mode of transportation to & from work, and shall be required to provide a clean Criminal Record Check prior to commencement of work. Wage: $36.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours/week; day shifts (8:00am - 4:30 Monday - Friday); some overtime required Alamo Industries Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
