The primary work location is in Niagara-on-the-Lake, but we travel weekly to our second home in Toronto, and require a caregiver who will transit back and forth with us when we do so. N.B.: we do not eat or cook any animal based products nor allow any in our home. Key responsibilities include: - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Shop for food and household supplies - Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties - Bathe, dress and feed infants and children - Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Organize, activities such as games and outings for children - Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Prepare infants and children for rest periods - Supervise and care for children - Tend to emotional well-being of children - Light housekeeping and shopping may be required (incidental to childcare duties) Benefits: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
