Company Operating Name: Frantastic Events Business Address: 104-1143 Wentworth St W, Oshawa ON L1J 8P7 Title of the Position: Food Service Supervisor Number of Positions Available: 1 Job Duties: - Supervise and coordinate the preparation of food including planning meals, cooking and delivering food both in kitchen and onsite at mobile catered events. - Schedule staff management and recruitment and training, calendar management - Maintain records of stock and is responsible for inventory, ordering ingredients required for food preparation. - Establish daily tasks related to operations and procedures of the business, budget and cleaning management of kitchen and trailers/food truck. - Assist owner, with planning, preparation and execution of catered events and all kitchen-related tasks and to ensure that food and service meet the company’s quality control standards - Participate in making arrangements with food and other suppliers and assist with the development of policies and procedures - Problem-solving, resolution of customer complaints and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed appropriately Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 40 hours of work per week Seasonal Position: no Language of Work: English Wage: $26.44 p/h Vacation: 4% Vacation pay included on each paycheque Benefits: Full coverage – extended health benefits Bonuses/Commission: N/A Location of Work: Main kitchen or onsite locations within the GTA Contact Information: Apply with a cover letter and resume to info@frantasticevents.ca Skill Requirements (includes education and work experience): - Minimum of 1 year of food supervisory experience - Strong English language skills
